7.- STARTING.
7.1.- Preliminary checks before starting.
• Carefully make sure that all of the connections have been made correctly and are sufficiently tight, respecting
the labelling of the unit and the instructions in chapter 6.
• Make sure that all of the INVERTER switches are turned off. If the unit has the optional manual Bypass switch
(Q5), also ensure that the mechanical block (BL) is placed.
• Supply power to the equipment, operating the switch or switch box distribution DC line and AC line if the
equipment has to this input.
7.2.- Starting.
It is very important to start and stop the INVERTER in the established order (stopping being the reverse of starting),
considering the version of the equipment available and figures 4, 6 and 8.
• Turn to "I" or "On" the switch (Q1), the switch (Q4) (in version IS-B and IS-T) and the (Q7) (in versions IS-T).
• Turn switches (Q2) to "I" or "On", in the units that have this.
•
Depending the version of the equipment, from the time the mains voltage has been applied and switches (Q4), (Q7)
and (Q2) are turned on, in versions IS-B and IS-T, the voltage is present in the output by means of the static Bypass.
7.3.- Normal starting.
• Turn the switch (S1) to the position ( ), ad the inverter will supply AC output voltage based on DC input.
• Start the loads
7.4.- Daily stopping.
• Stop the loads.
• Turn the switch (S1) to ( ) or ( ), the inverter will be "Off".
•
We remind you that the units with static Bypass (versions IS-B and IS-T) are supplying voltage to the output, although
the INVERTER might be turned off (switch (S1) at ( )). Depending the version of the equipment, if you wish to completely
eliminate the voltage, switches (Q4), (Q7) and (Q2) must be turned off.
7.5.- Direct network output, manual Bypass. Only for use by AUTHORISED personnel.
• The manual Bypass is a useful element for preventive maintenance or in the event of a fault in the unit, and allows
the loads to the supplied directly from the commercial mains. It also allows the intervention of the T.S.S. (Technical
