Notes on operation, Care and maintenance
WARNING
Before doing any work on the machine, pull the plug out of the socket.
Check all connected cables on a regular basis.
If power tools are damaged, they must be immediately removed from use.
Repairs must always be referred to a Weller-trained
specialist.
Use original replacement parts only.
WARNING
External Power Supply:
Mount plug type appropriate for your region by slipping into the power adapter
until the plug clicks in.
To ensure that the fi ltration system functions properly, the fi lter must be
replaced as follows
• at least once a year or
• when indicated or
• if the maximum allowable workplace concentration is exceeded or
• as per maintenance schedule
The suspended matter fi lter and the broadband gas fi lter are complementary
to one another and can be replaced together as a compact fi lter. The compact
fi lter must be changed once a year in order to ensure it is fully functional. The
fi ne dust fi lter (fi lter mat) is the preliminary stage of the compact fi lter and
therefore must be replaced more frequently.
It is strongly recommended that the compact fi lter be replaced after no more
than 10 fi ne dust fi lter changes.
The red warning light is fl ashing
Recommended service life of fi lter has expired.Indicates that the fi lter needs
changing. Reset the warning with the reset function on the control panel and
schedule a fi lter change.
The red warning light is lit continuously
Extraction capacity is too low. Switch off the fi lter unit. Check the nozzles and
tubes, and clean them if necessary. If the red warning light comes on again the
next time the unit is turned on, the fi lter must be changed.
NOTICE
Different fl uxes and fl ux constituents and the amount of and size of dust
particles in the extracted air will signifi cantly effect the fi lters working life.
Submicron particles in the extracted air increase when soldering or welding to
varnish insulated wire.
CAUTION!
Contaminated fi lters must be treated as special waste.
Dispose of replaced equipment parts, fi lters or old devices in accordance
with the rules and regulations applicable in your country.

Warranty
Claims by the buyer for physical defects are time-barred after a period of one
year from delivery to the buyer. This does not apply to claims by the buyer for
indemnifi cation in accordance with §§ 478, 479 BGB (German Federal Law
Gazette).
We shall only be liable for claims arising from a warranty furnished by us if the
quality or durability warranty has been furnished by use in writing and using the
term „Warranty".
The warranty shall be void if damage is due to improper use and if the device
has been tampered with by unauthorized persons.
