B1 PULIFIL INSTALLATION
B1.1 Before installation
Warning! Before installing PuliFIL make sure that the system delivers water intended for
human consumption complying with the European drinking water directives 98/83/CE.
PuliFIL is not equipped, in its standard version, with anti-flooding devices or with devices aimed
atverifying, checking and triggering an alarming in the event of uncontrolled water leaks. If
necessary, providefor a suitable anti-flooding device separately.
Do not install PuliFIL downstream of boilers or in applications involving the passage inside the filter
ofwater above 30 °C. Install PuliFIL upstream of the equipment to be protected.
Pay attention to the threads of the connections that could cause hand cuts and abrasions.
Check for the compliance of the hydraulic distribution system and the installation of the filter to
local regulations. The manufacturer disclaims all responsibility for damage to persons or things
caused by improper installation of the filter and/or the installation of the filter in a waterworks not
compliant with local regulations.
PuliFIL is not equipped, by its standard version, with anti-flooding devices other devices able to
detect, control or alarm in case of runaway water losses. In case, consider, apart, an adequate anti
flooding device.
Do not install PuliFIL downstream of boilers or in devices involving the transit, inside the filter, of
water at higher than 40°C temperature. Install PuliFIL upstream of devices to protect. PuliFIL
cannot be used to treat closed loop water (ex heating systems water) or any other applications not
cited in this manual.
B1.2 Installation requirements
PuliFIL must be installed in a hygienically suitable, dry, clean place, indoors, away from: frost,
direct exposure to sunlight, humidity and atmospheric agents (rain, snow, hail). Do not install
PuliFIL in wells, near drains, in foul-smelling places. Do not install it where there may be chemical
vapors, gases or fumes of any kind. Avoid installation in confined spaces that do not allow an easy
performance of the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations.
The permissible limit values of the environmental parameters for the installation of BravoMATIC
are asfollows:
Minimum/maximum ambient temperature (°C): 5 – 40
Warning! Make sure that hydraulic system be hygienically safe and does not present risks
of bacterial growth (for example dead branches, sourceso of bacterial prolification...).
B1.3 General instructions for installation
Installation has to be carried out in a workmanlike manner, in compliance with all applicable laws
and the rating plate data of the appliance itself.
The plumbing system in which the filter is installed and the installation of the filter itself must be
carried out in compliance with the laws in force.The Manufacturer declines all liability for damages
to property or persons resulting from the incorrect installation of the filter and/or the installation of
the filter in a system not complying with the laws in force.
All materials used for the construction of water distribution systems for human consumption must
be intended for the human consumption complying to local laws.The construction and modification
