RIMINI DP
5.3. Operating modes
By successively touching the mode key the emitter is changed from one mode to the next. To
identify the mode a screen is initially displayed for 2 seconds.
COMFORT:
The first mode of operation that appears when the emitter is connected for the
first time, and changed from Standby to Operational, is Comfort. In this mode,
the desired room temperature is directly selected with the
and
keys. The
limits are between 12 °C and 30 °C in steps of 0.5 °C. If the keys are held
down, the temperature changes faster. When the temperature reaches either
the maximum or minimum value it will stop.
The normal comfort temperature is 20-21.5 °C. The Comfort mode is normally
used during the hours the room is occupied.
ECONOMY:
The next mode that appears is Economy (ECO), in which the emitter automat-
ically sets a temperature of between 0.5 °C and 4.5 °C (user selectable with
the
and
keys) less than the previously selected comfort temperature.
When the comfort temperature is raised or lowered, the ECO temperature au-
tomatically rises or falls by the set amount.
While the comfort temperature can be set from 12 °C to 30 °C, the ECO tem-
perature is from 7.5 °C to 29.5 °C, but always between 0.5 °C and 4.5 °C be-
low the comfort temperature.
Economy mode is normally used at night or during short periods of absence. It prevents the
temperature from dropping too much, which would result in costly recoveries.
ANTI-FROST:
In Anti-frost mode the temperature is factory set to 7 °C and is
not adjustable. The Anti-frost mode is normally used as an off
set point and for long periods of absence when you want to
avoid freezing problems.
PROGRAM:
In Program mode the emitter automatically switches between 3 mode
temperatures according to the daily and weekly program set by the user
according to their needs.
The program circle is displayed permanently and displays the 12 hours
program divided into half-hour intervals.
The circle in which the current time is, is displayed, from 00:00 to 11:59 and
from 12:00 to 23:59. Each half-hour interval of each day of the week can be
programmed as:
Comfort, Economy or Anti-frost
