5.4. Minimum and maximum value function
1. Press the MAX / MIN button to activate the maximum value
function. The display symbol "MAX" appears. The measuring device
shows the maximum display and holds this value until a new
maximum value is measured.
2. Press the MAX / MIN button again and the "MIN" symbol
appears. The measuring device shows the minimum value display
and holds this value until a new minimum value is measured.
3. To exit MAX / MIN mode, press and hold the MAX / MIN button
for approx. 2 seconds.
5.5. 4 - 20mA measuring function
4 - 20 mA currents are used as control signals for industrial
applications and can be measured with this multimeter.
1. Connect the device to the current loop to be measured as
described for a mA (milliampere) measurement.
2. Set the function switch to the 4-20mA% position
3. The meter will display the current loop as a percentage:
0 mA = - 25%
4 mA = 0%
20mA = 100%
24mA = 125%
5.6. DC Voltage measurements
Caution: Do not measure DC voltages if a motor on the circuit is
being switched ON or OFF. Large voltage surges may occur during
the ON or OFF operations that can damage the meter.
1. Set the function switch to the "V" position.
