up to 30 metres*
*Please note that the maximum transmis-

optimum conditions. This range may be
reduced by walls or other radio signals
(mobile phones, WLAN), for example.
1 Connecting and getting started:
Remove the battery holder from the remote
control and place the included battery in
the battery compartment provided. Note
the polarity marked inside the battery
compartment. Then slide the battery holder
back into the remote control.
Now plug the radio-controlled socket into a
standard earthed socket.
To test the radio-controlled socket and for
manual use without a remote control press
the "On" and "Off" button. When you press
the button, the LED of the radio-controlled
socket should light up. When you press the
button again, the LED goes out.
2 Learn function of the radio-controlled
socket
Press and hold the "LEARN" button for
approx. 3 seconds until the LED starts to
blink. Then select the desired channel by
pressing the corresponding "ON" button.
The LED on the radio-controlled will stop
blinking when it has successfully learnt the
frequency.
If the learning is unsuccessful, the remote
control socket will leave learn mode after
15 seconds. In this case, repeat the pro-
cess. It is also possible to assign a channel
multiple times (multiple radio-controlled
sockets can respond to the same remote
control button).
If you wish to delete a programmed chan-
nel, first press the "LEARN" button until the
LED flashes. Press the "OFF" button for the
channel to remove its programming.
3 Troubleshooting
3.1Remote control does not work
Check whether the battery has been
inserted with the poles facing the proper di-
rections. You can check this by making sure
that the label on the battery corresponds
to the polarity marked inside the battery
compartment.
