To Enjoy BD-LIVE with the TV
Connecting the TV to Your Broadband Router
To connect your TV to the Internet, you must have a broadband Internet connection.
The examples used throughout this manual are based on the LC-42BD80U model.
STEPS

Be sure to turn off the TV and the equipment before making any connections.
Firmly connect an ETHERNET cable (Shielded CAT.5) to the ETHERNET terminal ( 1 and 2 ).

* For the ETHERNET cable, use a SHARP-recommended one.

Call 1-800-BE-SHARP for ordering.
- Using another cable may prevent the TV from performing correctly.
Internet
CAUTION
When using a broadband Internet connection, a contract with an Internet service provider is required. For more details, contact
your nearest Internet service provider.
Refer to the operation manual of the equipment you have as the connected equipment and connection method may differ
depending on your Internet environment.
Use an ETHERNET cable and broadband router supporting 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX.
