If there is no second battery fitted in the engine compartment, an additional fuse carrier 000
055 212 B / 65.25434-6000 must be used. The fitting situation in the vehicle (engine
compartment) must be checked beforehand!
Work to be carried out, general:
1. Disconnect the earth cable from the battery.
2. Fit the 12- and 9-wire wiring harnesses as well as the socket housing.
3. Coding.
4. Function test.
1. Disconnect the earth cables from the batteries
To avoid short-circuits during fitting and for safety reasons, the earth cables must, without exception,
be disconnected from the batteries before starting work (risk of fire)!!
Disconnection of the batteries can lead to a loss of stored data!
