Color temperature—how it effects white
balance adjustment
if the temperature of an object continues to
increase, it will eventually begin giving off light.
At this time, there is a fixed relationship
between the object's temperature and its "light
color." The temperature of the object radiating
the light is expressed in absolute temperature
(°K).
This is also known as the color temperature,
which in turn stands for "light color." As color
temperature increases, the light color changes
from red to yellow to white to blue.
