AUTOSTOP
The AUTOSTOP kickback feature senses a bind of the
AUTOSTOP
drill. The control lamp flashes and the electronic switch
off the machine. To switch on, release the trigger and
press it again.
The machine is delivered with Autostop activated.
Switch off Autostop: turn the forward/reverse switch to the middle
position and then press the on/off switch 5 times. The indicator light lights
up and then slowly goes out (see illustrations in the picture section).
Switch on Autostop: turn the forward/reverse switch to the middle
position and then press the on/off switch 5 times. The control light flashes
(see illustrations in the picture section).
The selected Autostop mode remains stored even if the battery is
removed.
CLEANING
The ventilation slots of the machine must be kept clear at all times.
MAINTENANCE
Use only Berner accessories and spare parts. Should components need
to be replaced which have not been described, please contact one of our
Berner service agents (see our list of guarantee/service addresses).
If needed, an exploded view of the tool can be ordered. Please state the
ten-digit No. as well as the machine type printed on the label and order
the drawing at Berner.

Do not dispose of waste batteries, waste electrical and
electronic equipment as unsorted municipal waste. Waste
batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment
must be collected separately.
Waste batteries, waste accumulators and light sources
have to be removed from equipment.
Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling
advice and collection point.
According to local regulations retailers may have an
obligation to take back waste batteries and Waste
electrical and electronic equipment free of charge.
Your contribution to re-use and recycling of waste
batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment
helps to reduce the demand of raw materials.
Waste batteries, in particular containing lithium and waste
Electrical and electronic equipment contain valuable,
recyclable materials, which can adversely impact the
environment and the human health, if not disposed of in
an environmentally compatible manner.
Delete personal data from waste equipment, if any.

GUARANTEE AND GUARANTEE SERVICE
Each tool, spare part or accessory is consistently checked before being
dispatched from the manufacturing plant. If, despite this fact, there
are any defects, please send the item directly to our Client Services
Headquarters or to the nearest service repair shop of the firm Berner.
The warranty period of 36 months for tools and 12 months for batteries
and chargers starts on the date of purchase which must be verified using
the original receipt. During the guarantee period the producer guarantees:
• free removal of possible defects;
• free replacement of all damaged parts;
• free professional servicing.
The requirement for this is that the problem is a material and/or
manufacturing fault. Defects or faults caused by incorrect treatment
or excessive force are not covered by the warranty. Furthermore, only
original accessory parts may be used, which Berner has expressly identifi
ed as suitable for the operation with Berner machines.
