TROUBLESHOOTING
13.1. VACUUM UNIT
Anomaly: The vacuum pump doesn't start.
CAUSE
The pump motor is not receiving voltage.
The pump's starter protector is blocked,
because the condenser doesn't reach the
correct temperature. Minimum temperature to
switch on the pump:
LQ-85 <-40ºC / LQ-55 <-30ºC
Pump wheel is seized up. The motor axle
doesn't turn.
Anomaly: Vacuum cannot be obtained.
CAUSE
The motor turns but doesn't create vacuum.
Anomaly: The pump doesn't reach the vacuum pressure limit.
CAUSE
Lack of oil.
The oil is contaminated.
Anomaly: Abnormal heating of the pump.
CAUSE
Lack of ventilation or environmental temperature
too high (>35ºC).
Anomaly: Mist leak from the emission channel.
CAUSE
Gas-Ballast is opened too much.
There is a leak.
13.2. REFRIGERATING UNIT
Anomaly: The refrigerating unit doesn't start up.
CAUSE
The compressors don't receive voltage.
Anomaly: The condenser doesn't reach the minimum temperature.
CAUSE
Refrigerant leak.
The refrigerating fans of the refrigerating unit
don't work.

SOLUTION
Check the connection of the on/off switch located upon the
motor of the pump.
Check the electrical connection terminals of the pump.
Check the corresponding circuit-breaker.
Check that the environmental temperature is not too high
(<35ºC), this might have caused the circuit breakage.
Check the temperature of the condenser.

SOLUTION
Check the level of oil of the pump, and add oil up to the
suitable quantity (please refer to paragraph 12.1.4.).
Empty the oil from the pump and fill it with new oil.
SOLUTION
Place the pump in an area with better ventilation.
SOLUTION
Close the Gas-Ballast.
Locate the leak.
SOLUTION
Check electrical connection terminals of the compressors.
Check the circuit breaker corresponding to each compressor.
