BELT REPLACEMENT
CAUTION - PRECAUTION

Before starting any operation, check
for accessibility depending on how the
engine is located in the vehicle in which
it is installed.
IMPORTANT
- For engines equipped with linear
tensioner (see fig. 1), it is mandatory in
any case to contact the manufacturer of
the vehicle where the engine is instal-
led, or an authorized VM MOTORI FCA
ITALY workshop to replace the belt.
- For engines equipped with automatic
tensioner (see fig. 2 page 64) it is re-
commended to contact the manufactu-
rer of the vehicle where the engine is
