keyboards and pedals.

Footage:
Most voice tabs are marked with a number as well as a name
e.g. FLUTE 16, SFRING 8 The number denotes the pitch of
the voice and is related to the length of a pipe necessary to
create the tone in a pipe organ. 8' pitch is called unison pitch
— the note middle C on the keyboard sounds as middle C. 16'
sounds one octave lower than 8': 4' one octave higher than
8'. The 51/3' and 2-2/3' pitches are additional harmonics / _
never used on their own but with other voices to add char-
acter to the sound. !f you play C and use the 5 1/3' Flute, the
note G sounds, use the 2 2/3' Flute and the G one octave
higher sounds.
REMARKS:
A maximum of 8 notes can be played simultaneously on the lower
keyboard.

Hauteur des Registres:
La plupart des registres sont indiqués avec un nombre comme,
par exemple, FLUTE 16, STRING 8. Ce nombre correspond a Ja
_ hauteur du tuyau utilisé dans un orgue classique pour donner
une sonorité équivalente.
Le 8' est appelé unison et corres-
pond au DO du milieu du clavier. Le 16' est donc d'une octave
inférieur et le 4' d'une octave supérieur. Le 5 1/3' et le 2 2/3
dont des harmoniques supplémentaires et ne sont jamais utili-
sées seules, mais toujours en addition avec les autres registres.
Si vous jouez le DO en 5 1/3, vous entendez également le SOL
et avec le 2 2/3, vous entendez le SOL une octave au dessus.
REMARQUE:
Un maximum de 8 notes peuvent étre simultanément jouées sur le
clavier inférieur.

Die Zahl driickt die Tonlage des Registers, bezogen auf
die Lange

erzeugen
wilirde, aus.
Registrieren
Sie ein 8', (Fuk) Regi-
ster und schlagen Sie das mittlere C an — ein 16' C klingt
genau eine Oktave tiefer ein 4' C eine Oktave héher.
Die 51/3' und 22/3' Register sind zusatzliche
Obertone
- die nicht alleine sondern
in Verbindung
mit anderen
Stimmen
gebraucht
werden,
um
den
Klangcharakter
zu
formen.
Wenn Sie das C anschlagen und die 5 1/3' Flute
registriert haben, erklingt der Ton G.
Bei 2 2/3' ein um
eine Oktave hoheres G.
