▪ The kickback occurs due to an incorrect use of the power
tool or due to an improper working procedure which can
cause serious injuries to the user. Loss of control can
result in serious injury. To avoid the kickback, the
following precautions must be considered:
- Always use the auxiliary handle supplied with the
polisher in order to have the greatest possible control
over kickback forces or reaction torques during
acceleration and starting of the polisher;
- Place and keep the polishing pad in the correct position
and tighten securely;
- Do not position your body in the area where power tool
will move if kickback occurs;
▪ Never put your hands near the polishing pad, it may
reverse over your hand. Keep your hands away from
rotating accessories;
▪ When the rotating accessory jams, switch off the power
tool immediately;
▪ To prevent the workpiece from moving or being ejected,
use clamping devices or a workbench to ensure that
work is carried out safely. Place and hold the workpiece
in the correct position and secure it;
▪ The velcro backing pad thread must be compatible (type
and size) with the specifications of the spindle bolt of the
polisher. Incorrectly sized accessories cannot be
properly secured or controlled;
▪ The accessories must be able to rotate at least at the
maximum speed of the polisher. Otherwise, the
accessories may be damaged and cause injury to the
user and damage to the working area;
▪ Never put the power tool down before the rotating
accessory has completely stopped. The polishing pad
may come into contact with the surface on which it
stands, causing you to lose control of the machine;
▪ Make sure that the ventilation slots are not clogged. Do
not place any objects over the slots;
▪ When operating the machine, plan pauses and avoid
operating it for long periods of time. Permanent
vibrations are harmful to health;
▪ Operating the power tool causes high load of vibrations
which can cause damage to the circulatory and nervous
systems, especially in people with circulatory problems.
Seek medical attention if symptoms occur that may be
caused by vibrations. These symptoms, which occur
mainly in the fingers, hands or wrists, include, for
example, loss of sensation, pain, muscle weakness,
discoloration of the skin or unpleasant tingling;
▪ Avoid using the polisher on surfaces coated with paints
containing lead or other materials harmful to health.
Any contact or inhalation of dust may cause allergic
reactions and / or breathing disorders;
▪ Materials containing asbestos may not be worked on.
Asbestos is carcinogenic.
Before performing cleaning, adjusting, repairing and
maintenance tasks, always remove the battery.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so that
the power tool is always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The power tool must be entirely cleaned after use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These products
may damage plastics and metals, compromising the safe
operation of the power tool.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out, all other works must be
performed by an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and bolts properly tightened so that the power
tool is in a safe operating condition.
