6. Preparation of the shelf plate.
Place the shelf plate with its uncoated
surface (back) facing upward on a soft
blanket, etc. Fit the four shelf pegs to the
shelf plate with wood screws (two each on
the left and right).
Caution
● Fasten the wood screws with a torque of 1 to 1.2 N·m.
Do not excessively fasten the wood screws to prevent
idling screws. If a screw is idling, then use spare
holes.
7. Shelf plate fitting
You can fit the shelf plate at a height of 350
mm or 500 mm from the floor.
The figure on the right shows the shelf plate
fitted at a higher position (500 mm).
When the shelf plate is fitted at a higher
position, remove only one of the upper
hexagon socket cap button bolts.
When the shelf plate is fitted at a lower
position (350 mm), remove only one of the
lower hexagon socket cap button bolts.
Place the shelf plate between the support
units and fix it with four shelf peg screws
(two each on the left and right).
Refit and fasten the hexagon socket cap
button bolt that was removed in step
Caution
● Remove only one hexagon socket cap button bolt either
on the left or right but not both.
● Do not remove the spring washers and flat washers
from bolts.
● Fasten the shelf peg fixing screws with a torque of 2
to 3 N·m.
● Fasten the hexagon socket cap button bolt with a torque
of 8 to 10 N·m.
To change the shelf height
You can fit the shelf plate at a height of 350 mm
or 500 mm from the floor.
Remove only one of the hexagon socket cap
button bolts of the currently fitted shelf plate.
Remove the four shelf peg screws (two each
on the left and right) to remove the shelf plate.
Fit the bolt that was removed in step
