Precautions with regard to setting up
WARNING
Installation and removal should only be carried out by a qualified technician.
• If the stand is not installed correctly, the Plasma display may fall over and become damaged, and personal
injury may result.
Do not disassemble or modify the stand.
• Otherwise the unit may fall over and become damaged, and personal injury may result.
Do not put it on an unstable place.
• When the stand is put on the shaking stand and the inclining place, etc., it falls and it causes the injury.
CAUTION
Do not use any displays other than those given in the catalogue.
• Otherwise the unit may fall over and become damaged, and personal injury may result.
Take steps to prevent toppling.
• Earthquakes or children climbing up or onto the display may cause the display to topple over, possibly
resulting in injury.
Keep the unit away from direct sunlight and heating equipment.
• Failure to do so may result in warping, deformation, or degradation of materials, and a loss of strength that
may cause the equipment to fall over or break and cause injury.
More than two people are required to install and remove the display.
• If more than two people are not present, the display may be dropped, and personal injury may result.
Leave a space of at least 3 15/16 inches (10 cm) at the top, left and right, and at least 2 3/8 inches (6
cm) at the bottom, and at least 2 49/64 inches (7 cm) at the rear.
• Do not cover the air inlet holes at the bottom or rear of the display, or air outlet holes at the top, or a fire
may result.
Do not place weight of over 20 kg (44.09 lbs.) on the shelf panel.
• Otherwise the display may fall down and become damaged, and personal injury may result.
Do not climb up onto the stand or use it as a step. (Children should not be allowed to climb on this
stand.)
• The stand may fall over or break, and personal injury may result.
Do not use the mobile stand if it becomes warped or physically damaged.
• If you use the mobile stand whilst it is physically damaged, personal injury may result.
Set up on a stable, level surface.
• If this is not done, the unit may fall over and become damaged, and personal injury may result.
• The casters are provided with a locking mechanism, so be sure to lock the casters during setting up.
During setting-up, make sure than all screws are securely tightened.
• If sufficient care is not taken to ensure screws are properly tightened during assembly, the stand will not
be strong enough to support the Plasma display, and became damaged, and personal injury may result.
Do not lubricate the casters.
• The casters may crack or became damaged, and the display may fall down and became damaged, and
personal injury may result.
Unlock the casters when moving the display.
• Otherwise the display may fall down and become damaged, and personal injury may result.
Do not use the mobile stand when occur deformation or crack.
• If the stand is use in such a condition, it may fall over or break, and personal injury may result. Contact
your nearest Panasonic Dealer immediately.
