1.8 DANGERS FROM NON-OBSERVANCE OF THE
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Non-observance of the safety instructions can lead
to loss of any claims for damage compensation.
Non-observance of the safety instructions can
result in danger to persons and damage to the
environment and the machine. In detail, non-
observance can for instance involve the following
hazards :
• Failure of important machine/system functions
• Failure of prescribed methods for maintenance
and repairs
• Danger to persons through electrical, mechanical
and chemical hazards
• Danger to the environment through leakage of
harmful substances
If the instructions of the operation manual

2. TRANSPORT, TEMPORARY STORAGE,
DISPOSAL
2.1 RECEIVING INSPECTION
When receiving goods, check the condition of the pump's packaging.
In case of damage, note the exact damage and immediately notify
the dealer in writing.
2.2 TRANSPORT
DANGER
Dropping the pump.
Risk of injury if the pump is dropped!
Observe the indicated weight (see 3.2 Technical
data page 15) .
Never suspend the pump by the power cord.
Use suitable means of transport.
• The pumps Sanipump ZPG 71 should be lifted and/or transported
using the eyelets on top or the handlebar designed for that purpose.
Under no circumstances is the pump to be lifted on the power supply
cable!
• The pumping station has been inspected to make sure there is no
damage due to transport.
2.3 TEMPORARY STORAGE
• For temporary storage and conservation, it suffices if the pumps
are stored in a cool, dry, frost-protected and dark place.
• In case of longer storage periods, please spin the impeller of the
pump at least once per month to avoid the jamming of the mecha-
nical seals.
2.4 DISPOSAL
The device must not be disposed of as household waste
and must be disposed of at a recycling point for electrical
equipment. The device's materials and components are
reusable. The disposal of electrical and electronic waste,
recycling and recovery of any form of used appliances

3. DESCRIPTION
3.1 APPLICATION
The submersible greywater pumps of the type series Sanipump ZPG 71
are used for the drainage of wastewater in manholes.
Unauthorised pumped fluids:
The use of this pump is not suitable for the disposal of:
- wastewater containing faeces (blackwater),
- wastewater containing any components which affect the materials
of the pump or the manhole and its parts,
- wastewater containing harmful substances (for example, untreated
greasy waste from restaurants). Pumping these liquids and subs-
tances requires the fitting of a compliant grease trap, confromément
à la norme EN1825.
