Operation
The mower must only be set
when the motor is switched
off and the blades are shut-
down. There is a risk of per-
sonal injury.
Switch of the device, pull the ig-
nition key (12) and wait for the
blades to come to a stop.
Mounting/removing the
grass box
The mulch kit (18) is mounted in the
delivered state.
1. To mount the grass catch box (4) lift the
impact protection (5) and mount the
grass catcher box (4).
2. Lower the collision guard (5) onto the
grass box (4) - it will keep it in place.
3. To remove the grass box (4), lift the col-
lision guard (5) and unhook the grass
box from the mounting bracket. Flap
down the collision guard to the housing
(9).
Mulch kit
Inserting the mulch kit
1. Remove the grass collection box, if
used.
2. Lift the impact protection.
3. Insert the mulch kit (18).

4. Fold the impact protection (5) over the
mulch kit (18). It will keep the mulch kit
(18) in the correct position.

4. Remove the mulch kit (18).
Adjusting the Cut Height
There are 5 different cutting heights:
65 mm - large cutting height
55 mm - medium cutting height
45 mm - medium cutting height
35 mm - low cutting height
25 mm - low cutting height
1. Push the cutting height adjustment lever
(7) away from the unit.
2. Move the lever (7) for adjusting the cut-
ting height past the ratchet mechanism
to the desired cutting height.
The correct height is around 25 – 45 mm
for a decorative lawn and around
45 –65 mm for a used lawn.
A higher cut height should be se-
lected for the fi rst cut of the season.
Observe noise control and local
regulations.
Insert/remove battery
Switch off the device, pull the
ignition key (12) and wait for the
blades to come to a stop. There is a
risk of personal injury.
1. Lift the transparent cover (10) on the
device housing.
2. To insert the battery (11) into the de-
vice, push the battery along the guide
rail into the device. It locks into place
audibly.
