General safety information
DANGER
Disregarding this instruction manual can lead to serious personal injury, property
damage and even death.

Working with an improperly connected control unit and kiln or an electrically defective
control unit and kiln can lead to serious personal injury, property damage and even
death.
DANGER
Risk of serious personal injury, property damage and even death.
Disconnect the kiln and control system from the power supply before attempting installation,
cleaning, maintenance or repair work.
WARNING
An incorrectly placed control unit can lead to serious personal injury or property
damage.
The control unit should never be placed on the kiln but should only be positioned in the bracket
provided for it. The controller must not be exposed to direct heat from exhaust air or thermal
radiation from the kiln.
CAUTION
Risk of personal injury and property damage:
Do not open the device cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
⇒ Please make sure that you fully understand this instruction manual.
⇒ Only use the control unit if it is in technically perfect condition!
⇒ Make sure that only a properly connected control unit is put into operation.
⇒ Observe the operating instructions for the kiln to which the control unit is to be
connected.
⇒ Please make sure that you fully understand the kiln manufacturer's safety
information.
⇒ Check the kiln and the control unit regularly to ensure that they are in proper and
perfect condition before using the equipment for the first time and during operation.
⇒ The kiln and control system should be checked regularly (at least once a year) to
ensure they are in perfect working condition.
⇒ The tests should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
⇒ In the event of damage or defects, do not put the control unit or kiln into operation
or shut down both immediately.
