These sounds are normal:

Compressor operating noises.

Air movement noise from freezer fan motor or other
compartments.

Noise similar to boiling water.
-
"Popping" noise during automatic defrosting (depending on
model).

Clicking noise before the compressor is switched on.
-
Engine noise in icy conditions.
Other causes of unusual noise are listed below and may
require review and action:

The freezer is not levelled.
-
The rear part of the freezer is in contact with the wall.
Containers have fallen over or are rolling.
It is normal to hear the sound of the engine frequently. It will
need to function further in the following circumstances:
The temperature is set colder than necessary.
A large quantity of hot food has been stored in the
appliance.
The temperature outside the appliance is high.
Doors are kept open too long or too often.
After installing the appliance or if it has been switched off for
a long time.
Check that the air vents are not blocked by food and make
sure that the food is correctly placed inside the appliance for
sufficient ventilation. Make sure the door is completely closed.
To remove frost, read the 'Cleaning and maintenance' section.
The door may have been left open too long or too often, the
door may be held open by an object, or the appliance may be
positioned with insufficient clearance at the sides, rear and top.
Increase the temperature following the 'Control panel' section.
