1. Remove the two pre-installed

butterfl y nuts (2b) from the lawn-
mower housing (7). Insert the
lower bar (3) into the slot on the
lawnmower housing (7).
2. Fix the bottom bar (3) using the
two screws and butterfl y nuts
(2b).

3. Fix the U-shaped handle (1) to
the lower beam (3) with the en-
closed carriage bolts (16) and
two wing nuts with washers (2a).
4. Clip the cable holders (10) onto
the lower bar (3) and the U-
shaped grip (1) and use them to
fi x the appliance's cable in place
(21).
5. Adjust the angle of the U-shaped
handle (1) by loosening the
wing nuts with washers (2a) and
selecting one of the three rec-
ommended settings, which are
shown next to the wing nut (see
detail illustration).
By releasing the two wing nuts
with washers (2a) for fastening the
handle, you can fold the bow-type
handle (1) downwards to store the
device. Ensure that the appliance's
cable (21) is not trapped.

Hanging On/Removing

the Grass Bag
1. To hang on the grass bag (4), lift the
collision guard (9) and hang on the
grass bag. Fold the collision guard
(9) onto the grass bag (4). It holds the
grass bag in the correct position.
2. To remove the grass bag (4), lift the col-
lision guard (9) and detach the grass
bag. Fold the collision guard (9) back
onto the mower housing.
Do not work with the lawn-
mower without the collision
guard or lawn box. There is
a risk of injury.
Level gauge

The level gauge (17) is located on the side
of the grass catcher (4).
Flap (17) open:
grass catcher (4) empty
Flap (17) closed:
grass catcher (4) full
The level indicator (17) works when
the device is in operation.
Emptying the Grass Bag
Also use the lower grip on the grass col-
lection bag (22), to help to shake out the
grass collection bag (4).
Adjusting the Cut Height

Switch off the equipment, discon-
nect the plug and wait for the blade
to stop. There is a risk of injury.
1. Hold the cut height adjusting lever (5)
and guide it past the indent to the de-
sired cut height setting.
2. The handle (8) may be used to help,
in order to prevent to mower rolling
away.
