7.2.3 Terminating the charging process

ATTENTION
Damage to the charging cable
Tensile stress of the charging cable may cause cable
breaks and other damage.
f Only pull the charging cable directly from the socket
outlet.
f End charging process in a controlled manner (e.g. with
multi-function or stop button or on the vehicle).
f Pull the charging cable out of the charging socket on
the plug.
f Fit on the protective cap.
f Hang or store the charging cable kink-free.
For a type 1 charging connector, press the release
button to unplug.
Charging cable cannot be removed
If the charging plug cannot be removed, e.g. after a power
failure, the charging plug could not be unlocked in the
device. The charging plug cannot be removed and must be
unlocked manually.
f Have the charging plug unlocked by a qualified electri-
cian.

Multi-function button

Only available for the equipment variants Light, Pro and
Basic (R).

7.3.1 Terminating charging and acknowledging faults

f Press the multi-function button (about 10 mm).
The charging process is terminated and the charging

plug in the device is unlocked.
7.3.2 Restarting residual current devices and miniature
circuit breakers

The residual current device and the miniature circuit break-
er in the device can be manually switched on again from
outside via the multi-function button, without opening the
housing.
f Press the multi-function button up to the end position
(> 15 mm).
