Instructions for Starting the Walk-behind Sweeper
Perform the following checks before starting the walk-behind sweeper.

Check the level of the water in the batteries.

Raise the side broom by means of lever 3, figure 1.
Starting the motor.

Insert the starting key 6, figure 1 and turn it clockwise to power up the motor.
Starting work.

Push on the handlebar 1, figure1 to transmit drive to the rear wheels. This moves rubber drive wheel 2 forward to engage roller 3, which
drives the rear wheels via belt 4.
There must be a gap of 3/64-5/64" (1-2 mm) between drive wheel 2 and roller 3 when the walk-behind sweeper is at rest. Regulate adjuster
5 as required to maintain this gap.
Instructions for Operating the Walk-behind Sweeper

Do not pick up burning cigarette debris or other hot cinder ash type objects.

Avoid picking up pieces of string, wire, packing straps, and water, etc..

To pick up large but light objects (such as paper, leaves, etc.), push down on the handlebar to raise the front of the machine slightly for
just the time necessary to sweep the objects up.

Occasionally clean the panel filter by pulling and releasing knob 2, figure 1.

When working on a wet floor, shut off the suction by means of knob 4, figure 1 to prevent water being sucked up and clogging the filters.
