It is forbidden:
• to fill the tank in different ways;
• to use the appliance with tampered or removed lids;
• To use the appliance with the empty water tank.
5.4 Electric connection
Such operation must be carried out in compliance with the safety
rules of the Country of installation.
Before connecting the plug into the plug socket make sure the main switch is in the "OFF"
position.
The appliance's electric connection is made by and under the responsibility of the Cus-
tomer.
Connect the appliance to the electric line by means of the plug inside the electric wire by
considering as follows:
• the technical laws and rules in force in the place at the time of installation;
• the data shown on the technical specification plate on the side of the machine.
The connection point of the electric socket must be situated in a place
that can be reached easily by the user so that he could quickly discon-
nect the appliance from the power supply when necessary.
In case the power cord is damaged, contact the manufacturer or a skilled technician only
for replacing it.
It is forbidden:
• to use extension cords of any sort;
• to replace the original plug;
• to use adapters.

Position the full tank back onto the appliance
being careful to place it into its seat.
Reposition the cap onto the tank; make sure the
tank is properly closed to prevent impurities
from entering.
6 FUNCTIONING
6.1 Staring up for the first time
The first time you use the machine, or if it has not been used for a long time, the following
must be done:

Fill the water tank as described in paragraph 5.3 and connect the appliance as described
in paragraph 5.4.

Note: This operation is necessary to make sure the tank is filled.
6.2 Starting up the machine
Make sure there is enough water in the tank; if not, fill in water as explained in section
5.3.

Remove the tank from the machine, wash it well
with water and put it back in the machine mak-
ing sure it is fitted in properly.
Make sure the lever is down, and then place a
cup on the grid.
Press the switch and bring it to "ON"; the light
goes on.
Press the switch to "ON"; light 12 comes on to
indicate line switched on.
Heating of the water in the tank starts auto-
matically.
