Configuration
1) Change Password: providing the entrance for
modifying the password login of Config Tool.
Input the Initial Password in the Reset
Password box, then Input Password,
Confirm Password, then click Save. (Prompt:
the password must be composed of 6-15 bits of
numbers, letters (case sensitive) and underline,
for example: Password_001.)
If password reset is finished, the following prompt
box pops up. Click OK to restart Configuration Tool.
In order to ensure Gateway is running in the safe
environment, it is recommended to run Gateway in
an independent end system and improve the
security strategy level of the system. Some
strategies shall be opened under the user's
determination, such as firewall, disable
Administrator/ multi-user, remote assistance,
serial/USB usage, etc.

2) Gateway Application Strategy: configure the
account strategy of the user's operation system
to improve the security of the operation system.
For example, disable remote control, open
screensaver, disable Guest user, open login
verification, promote log directory permissions,
etc can be implemented for the account
strategy. The following prompt will pop up
before the application strategy is used, click
Yes to implement it.
3) Privacy Protection: If the Privacy Protection is
checked, the password verification box will pop
up in case of the user's operations concerning
security and sensitive information. The user can
perform the next operation only if the user
enters the right password which is identical with
the login password of the Config Tool. If the
Privacy Protection is unchecked, all the
verification steps are cancelled, and the user
enters the next operation directly. The Privacy
Protection is defaulted to be checked.
