USE
This awning was designed for non-professional use and must not be used as a shelter from the rain.
It can be operated through a crank handle and comes with canvas that protects users from the sun's rays.
SAFETY
•
Do not use this awning in icy, frosty or snowy weather, as it may get damaged.
•
Close the awning in rain and wind and when it is not in use.
•
Do not climb on, hang from or walk on the frame.
•
Do not place items on or hang items from the awning.
•
Do not open the awning when maintenance, cleaning or construction work is being carried out nearby.
•
Do not use the awning if it is damaged, as the retractable arms may unfold suddenly and violently,
which may cause injury or other damage.
•
Never use a barbecue under the awning or light a fire nearby.
•
Remove the crank handle once the awning is adjusted to your liking and store out of the reach of
children.
•
When the front bar touches the roller tube, stop retracting the awning, as it may get damaged.
•
Make sure the canvas is taut. If, while the awning is open, the canvas is not taut, turn the crank handle
anti-clockwise until the canvas is fully taut.
MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity of the awning and the safety of its users.
•
Check the condition of the wall brackets regularly and tighten if necessary.
•
Examine the crank loop every 6 months. If it is damaged, stop using it until it is replaced or repaired.
•
Check all the nuts and bolts on the frame once a year and tighten them if necessary.
•
Stop using the awning immediately if it is damaged or unstable.
•
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning products on the metal frame. Use a mild detergent diluted in
warm water and a soft, damp cloth.
