SYSTEM SET UP Menu
The SYSTEM SET UP menu is used to set up the
camera control unit.
DATE & TIME (Setting the date and
time)
The date and time of shooting are automatically
recorded with an image using the built-in clock. Set the
clock correctly so that the proper date and time are
recorded.
When you select this item and press the ENTER button,
the DATE & TIME menu is displayed.
DATE FORM: Selects the date display form among
"YYYY-MM-DD", "DD-MM-YYYY" and "MM-
DD-YYYY". "YYYY" indicates the year, "MM"
indicates the month and "DD" indicates the day.
SET TIME: When you select this item and press the
ENTER button, the SET TIME window opens, and
you can set the year.

Time" on page 22.
PC CARD INIT (Initializing a PC
card)
Initializes a card to be used with this camera.
When you select this item and press the ENTER button,
the message "INITIALIZE OK?" is displayed. Press the
ENTER button to start initializing a card. To cancel
initializing, press the EXIT button.

ID SET MODE (Setting ID numbers)
A user ID number of up to 20 digits can be assigned to
each image to be recorded.
MODE
Specifies whether to assign a user ID number to each
image or not.
ON: To assign a user ID number
OFF: Not to assign a user ID
ID NO.
Set or change the user ID number to be assigned to an
image.
This item is valid only when MODE is set to ON.
Follow the steps below to assign a user ID number.

Move the cursor to ID NO., then press the ENTER
button.

Move the cursor to the location you want to set with
the B or b button.

Enter the number with the V or v button.
Pressing the V button sets to a larger number, and
pressing the v button sets to a smaller number.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to enter the desired user ID
number.
You can enter up to 20 digits.

Press the ENTER button.
The user ID number is assigned.
BEEP
Specifies whether to sound a beep when the camera is
operated.
ON: To sound a beep
OFF: Not to sound a beep
KEY CLICK
This item is displayed only when BEEP is set to ON.
Specifies whether to sound a beep when an operation
button of the camera control unit is pressed.
ON: To sound a beep
OFF: Not to sound a beep
OSD COLOR (Color of characters
on the display)
You can change the color of characters for menus,
information, and messages to be displayed on the LCD
monitor.
Select from among WHITE, BLUE, and RED.
COLOR BARS
Outputs a color bar signal for color tone adjustments to
the LCD monitor or an external monitor.
ON: To output a color bar signal
OFF: Not to output a color bar signal
