circuitry referred to is located inside the unit. There are
no user serviceable parts inside unit.

Transformer has overheated. The unit has shut down to al-
low the fan to cool unit (see Section 3-2). Operation will

Remove right side panel.

Replace point if tungsten end disappears; do
not clean or dress tungsten.

Spark Gap
Normal spark gap is 0.012 in (0.305 mm).
If adjustment is needed, proceed as follows:

Adjustment Screws
Loosen screws. Place gauge of proper thick-
ness in spark gap.

Pressure Point
Apply slight pressure at point until gauge is
held firmly in gap. Tighten screws to 12 in/lbs
torque (overtightening will deform plastic
base). Adjust other gap.

Reinstall right side panel.

Rectifier assembly has overheated. The unit has shut
down to allow the fan to cool unit (see Section 3-2). Opera-
tion will continue when the unit has cooled.
