Abrasive TYPE 41/1A and 27A/42
Wheel Assembly

Always use Type A (1A/41)
Cutting Wheel guard for
cutting.
Using the optional Type A (1A/41) Cutting
Whee Guard 13, it is possible to perform lim-
ited cutting on small stock such as metal tubes,
piping or rebar.
Do not attempt to cut large stock or sheets of
metal as this tool is not designed to be a dedi-
cated cutting tool.
1. Disconnect the Battery Pack 5 from the
tool.
2. Be sure that the Type A (1A/41) Cutting
Wheel Guard 13 is in place for cutting.
3. When using mounting wheels, thread the
Backing Flange 19 onto the Spindle 18,
then place the Type 41/1A Cutting Wheel
23 or Type 27A/42 Cutting Wheel 24 on the
Backing Flange 19.
4. Thread on the Quick-Clamping Nut 10 and
tighten the Nut 10 using the Fold-Up Bar
17, while holding the Spindle Lock 1.
TO REMOVE: Reverse the procedure.
Type 1 Abrasive Straight Grinding
Wheels
Do not use Type 1 abrasive
wheels
straight/die grinding. This tool is not designed
for use with Type 1 abrasive straight/die grind-
ing wheels.
