TOOLS, TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS, AND HARDWARE NOTES
Tools
• Drill driver with MINIMUM 18" extension with 10mm magnetic socket
• Drill bits: appropriate for floor (eg. concrete, hardwood); 3/8", min. 6" long
• T-25 Torx
®
• Cut-off saw (or other power saw with metal-cutting blade suitable for aluminum
and steel)
• Metric open-end box wrench set
• Torque wrench (open end, and one that handles 15-80 ft.lb./20-108 Nm)
• Ratchet, 3/8" with 6" extension
• Metric sockets (13 mm and 17 mm) (no 10 mm?)
• 10mm magnetic socket, 3/8" drive (Bruno recommends use with an 18" extension)
• 5/16" and 3/8" SAE sockets
• Snap ring tool for heavy-duty snap ring
• Vise grips and C-clamp vise grips
• Needle-nose pliers
• Metric hex key set
• Magnetic Phillips screwdrivers
• Soft-faced or dead-blow hammer,
or hard rubber or rawhide mallet
• Multimeter
• Extension cords
• Saw horses
• Safety goggles/glasses
Next:
• Determine if application requires installation of a manual or power folding rail .

Torque
• Follow OEM torque recommentations for seat
mounting hardware. If not available, refer to
Specs
table on right indicating ISO and SAE
recommended assembly torque specifications.
If it becomes necessary to replace any bolts
or fasteners, use only metric GRADE 10 .9
(hardened steel) hardware . Metric grade
10 .9 bolts are identifed by the number 10 .9 on the head .
Bolts without grade markings on the head are not strong enough to be safely
used in this application.
