3. Attach the end link of the chain to the accompanying steel wire and pull
the link chain into the chain casing, by means of the steel wire.
Make sure that the first link is flat in relation to the chain wheel and
that the subsequent standing links have the weld facing outwards from
the centre of the chain wheel.
4. Pull the steel wire and run the air hoist slowly in the lowering direction.
Make sure the first link of the chain drops into an indentation of the
chain wheel.
The hoist must not be driven in the lifting direction at this stage be-
cause of jamming risk.
5. When the first link is set in the chain wheel, run slowly in the lifting direc-
tion, while continuing to pull the steel wire.
