The essential safety requirements against the risk of explosion in the classified areas are covered by Directives 2014/34/EU
and 1999/92/EC.

MARKING AND GENERAL INFORMATION

In accordance with Standard 2014/34/EU, the volumetric pumps have the following identification marking:
The meaning of the abbreviations shown in the marking is as follows:
Symbol
II Set of equipment intended for installation in surface installations other than mines
Internal/external category of the equipment, which is designed to operate in conformity to
2/2 the operating parameters established by the manufacturer and to guarantee a high level of
protection both inside and outside the equipment itself
Type of atmosphere: equipment intended to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres
G
due to the presence of gas, vapours or mists
Ex Equipment for which an explosion protection mode has been adopted
h Non-electric equipment
IIB Group of fluids
T4...T1 Temperature classes of the equipment
Gb Equipment protection level (EPL)
Letter that indicates that there are specific conditions to be respected to maintain the

OPERATING LIMITS

The standard atmospheric conditions in which the pump can operate are:
- temperature from -20 °C to +40 °C;
- pressure from 80 kPa (0.8 bar) to 110 kPa (1.1 bar);
- air with normal oxygen content, typically 21% v/v.
Check for any limitations in the instructions.
The pumps are designed to work properly if the following limitations are fulfilled:
Viscosity: 20 mm /s to 60000 mm

Liquid temperature:
- V06, V12, V20, V25: -20 °C to +100 °C
- HT versions: +150 °C to +300 °C
- other models and versions: -20 °C to +200 °C
