General safety information

Please read and observe the following information before using or performing
maintenance on the TESCOM EUROPE pressure regulator.
• The appliance may only be used for its intended purpose as described in these
instructions for use (see Section "Intended purpose").
• These instructions for use are integral to the pressure regulator and must be
available to the user at all times.
• You must understand how the pressure regulator works before commencing
operation with it.
• Never use an appliance if it is leaking or faulty!
• Operation of the pressure regulator enriches and, where appropriate, controls the
corresponding gas in the patient environment. The pressure regulator may therefore
only be used in accordance with a doctor's instructions.
• Medical gases are a medicinal product and may only be administered under the
supervision of qualified medical staff who are familiar with the precautions that need
to be observed for the respective treatment.
„Use by"
Displays the date after which the medical product must no longer
be used.
„Serial number"
Displays the manufacturer's serial number so that a particular
medical product can be identified.
„Part number"
Shows the manufacturer's part number so that the medical
product can be identified.
„Follow the instructions"
Indicates the need for the user to consult the instructions.
„High-pressure connection"
Displays the regulator connections at which the inlet pressure
(high pressure) is applied.
