9 - minimum sensitivity (maximum squelch)
Briefly press the SQL key. The SQL icon appears on the screen accompanied
by the current level. Press the UP and DOWN keys on the microphone to
increase or decrease the level. Press the SQL key again to save the setting.
Scan active channels
The radio has an automatic scan function that continuously scans all the
channels you have saved in the scan list.
Press the key
. The radio will start scanning channels. The icon will flash on
the screen
.
Note: The information displayed on the screen during scanning differs
depending on the mode you are in (frequency mode or channel mode).
The radio will quickly scan all channels and stop on the channel where it detects
a signal. If there is no activity on the respective channel for 5 seconds, the
scanning function resumes.
If you want to transmit while scanning channels, press the PTT key, scanning
will stop on the respective channel during transmission and resume after 3
seconds after releasing the PTT key.
Briefly press the key again
to exit scanning mode.
Add/Remove channels from scan list
Select the channel you want to add to the list of channels to scan. Hold down
the key
to add the respective channel to the list. On the screen, in the
upper right corner, the icon will appear
.
To delete a channel from the scan list, press the key briefly
when you are on
that channel. The icon
will disappear from the screen.
