REPLACING THE ELASTOMERIC ADAPTER
Replace the elastomeric adapter (F) only if this has evident marks of cutting or
breaks.
In order to replace the elastomeric adapter:
remove the damaged elastomeric adapter (F) (see next paragraph).
1)
2)
Unscrew the mechanical expander (E) from the
machine. Point the elastomeric adapter (F) onto
the mechanical expander (E), then insert it into
the expander, as illustrated in the picture 5.
In order to make this operation easier, once the
elastomeric adapter (F) is pointed onto the
expander head, it is recommended to push it
against a flat surface (see picture beside).
Warning: do not push against body parts.
NB: Make sure that the elastomeric adapter (F) and the mechanical expander (E)
have the same diameter. To make this operation easier the elastomeric adapters
may be identified as follows:

3)
With the aid of a plastic-head hammer, push the
elastomeric adapter (F) until it is completely
inserted into the mechanical expander (see
picture 7). In order to perform this operation,
make sure that the mechanical expander (E) is
placed on a flat, unslippery surface.
