Problems
Display not steady while
measuring: the measure-
ment result is rather longer
or shorter; numerical display
irregular.
The length measurement in-
dicator only full display near
narrow part of the apical.

Possible causes
Are there cysts apical?
clean or broken?
Whether the measuring wire
is broken or poor contact?
Whether the root canal is
occlusive?
If the root canal is too dry?
a large root canal?
Solutions
If there is much pulp left in the
root canal, the root canal leng-
th can't be measured correctly.
or replace it.
Contact the both end of the
measuring
wire directly, it displays "-3".
The display will be normal
after penetrating the narrow
part of apical.
Wet the root canal with normal
saline solution or sodium
hypochlorite solution.
with a larger one.
