Warning - Batteries
• Before you insert the batteries, clean
the battery contacts and the polarity
contacts.
• Do not allow children to change
batteries without supervision.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or
batteries of different types or from
different manufacturers.
• Remove the batteries from products
that are not being used for an extended
period (unless these are being kept
ready for an emergency).
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not burn batteries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of
children.
• Never open, damage or swallow
batteries or allow them to enter the
environment. They can contain toxic,
environmentally harmful heavy metals.
• Remove spent batteries from the
product and dispose of them without
delay.
• Avoid storing, charging and using in
extreme temperatures and at extremely
low atmospheric pressures (such as at
high altitudes).
4. Commissioning
• Open the battery compartment (12),
remove the battery contact breaker and
close the battery compartment again.

4.1 Changing batteries

• Open the battery compartment (12),
remove and dispose of the spent batteries
and insert three new AAA batteries,
observing the correct polarity. Then close
the battery compartment cover.
5. Operation
Note
Press and hold the relevant arrow button
to select the values more quickly.
5.1 Setting of the date/time
• Hold the SET button (10) down for around
3 seconds until "12 Hr" starts to ash. Set
the following information in sequence:
• 12h/24h, hours, minutes, year, month, day
• To select the individual values, press
the arrow button  (7) or  (9) and
con rm each selection by pressing the SET
button (10).
• If no entries are made for around 25
seconds, settings mode is automatically
ended.
5.2 Temperature indicator
• You can switch between °C and °F by
pressing the  button (9).
5.3 Backlight
• Press the SNOOZE-LIGHT button (8)
to illuminate the display for around 5
seconds.

5.4 Alarm clock

5.4.1 Setting the alarm time

• Press the ALM-SET button (11) to enter
alarm mode. This is indicated by "AL" next
to the time.
• Press and hold the ALM-SET button (11)
to set the alarm time. The hour display
starts to ash.
• To select the desired hour, press the arrow
button  (7) or  (9) and con rm each
selection by pressing the ALM-SET button
(11). The minute display starts to ash.
Repeat the procedure for the minutes of
the alarm time.
