A massive load of vibrations may damage nervous and
circulatory systems, especially to whom have circulatory
problems. Inform your doctor if any symptoms arise caused
by vibration. Among these symptoms, that occur specially
on fingers, hand and wrists, are also included loss of
sensation, pain, muscle weakness, skin discoloration or
tingling sensation.
Avoid using the polisher on surfaces coated with paints
containing lead or other materials harmful to health. Any
contact or inhalation of dust may cause allergic reactions
and / or breathing disorders. Wear a mask and work with a
dust extraction device if the power allows so.
Materials containing asbestos cannot be worked. Asbestos
is carcinogenic.
Before
performing
cleaning,
changing, repairing and maintenance work, the power cord
must be unplugged from the socket.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so that
the power tool is always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The power tool must be carefully cleaned after each use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These products
may damage plastics and metals, compromising the safe
operation of the power tool.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out; all other works must be
performed by an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and screws well tightened in order to ensure
a safe operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance
works,
immediately and correctly.
Use only VITO-approved tools for this machine or
technically identical parts. Failure to do so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the polisher. If in doubt, if
you lack knowledge or resources, you should contact an
official dealer.

Your
polisher
should
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts sourced directly from the manufacturer.
The auxiliary handle can be installed in two different
positions (left and right of the gear housing) to adapt
the power tool to the work to be done and to make easier
its handling.
1. Line-up the auxiliary handle holes (6) on the gear
housing holes (4);
2. Insert the hexagon screws into the auxiliary handle holes
and fasten them to the gear housing.
1. Install the wool polishing pad (1) on the velcro backing
plate (2) with the wool surface facing out;
2. Tie the wool pad cord;
3. Place the cord inside the pad.
1. Screw the thread of the velcro backing plate (2) into the
spindle (3);
2. Press the spindle lock button (5) and rotate the velcro
backing plate until the spindle locks in place;
3. Tighten the velcro backing plate clockwise.
