7. Connecting the audio output device via
Bluetooth®
In Bluetooth mode, you can receive audio signals wirelessly from an external Blue-
tooth-enabled audio output device. Make sure the two devices are not more than
10 metres apart.
Only one audio output device can be paired with the headphones at a
time.
Follow these instructions to pair a new Bluetooth-enabled audio output device with
the headphones:
Enable Bluetooth mode on your audio output device.
Press and hold the multifunction button (6) for approximately 3 seconds until
the headphones switch on.
The headphones switch automatically to Bluetooth pairing mode. The operating
LED (4) flashes red and blue alternately.
The device name of the headphones MD 43474 will be displayed in the device list
on your audio output device as soon as the signal is found.
If you are prompted to enter a password for pairing, enter 0000.
Now connect your Bluetooth-enabled audio output device to the headphones.
You will find more information about the Bluetooth function of your au-
dio output device in its user manual.
Once the two devices are paired with each other, the operating LED will flash blue
and you will hear a sound through the headphones to confirm that they are con-
nected.
When signals are being transmitted via Bluetooth, you can control playback using
your audio output device and the multifunction button.
Every time the headphones are switched on, they automatically attempt to connect
to the last audio output device connected via Bluetooth.
7.1. Disconnecting a Bluetooth connection
You can disconnect an existing Bluetooth connection by pressing and holding
the multifunction button for 2 seconds.
The headphones then disconnect from the existing connection and switch to pair-
ing mode.
If you press and hold the multifunction button for 2 seconds during pairing
mode, the headphones will reconnect to the last audio device connected.
