combination screwdriver (B), turn it clockwise
to tighten it.
13. Close the spring-loaded lower protection flap
(11) upward.

4.6 Adjusting the parallel guide fence
The parallel guide fence (D) is used to make parallel cuts along the outer edge of the workpiece from a cutting
width of 175 mm [6.89 in]. The narrow edge of the guide fence must point downward in this process.
Use the following procedure to install the
parallel guide fence:
1.
Loosen the four wing screws (5).
2.
Insert the parallel guide fence (D) into the
guide provided for this purpose.
It can be mounted on the left or right side

of the machine.
3.
Tighten the two wing screws on the side on
which you are using the parallel guide fence.
The parallel guide fence is installed.

Use the following procedure to adjust the
cutting width:
1.
Loosen the four wing screws (5).
2.
Adjust the parallel guide fence (D).
The base plate has reference edges at

all four insertion points, where you can
see the markings on the guide rods of
the parallel guide fence. This permits the
parallel guide fence to be adjusted
exactly parallel to the chain fitting.
3.
Tighten the four wing screws (5).
The cutting width is adjusted.
