Insert the combination screwdriver (B) through
the bottom opening in the cover and turn the
hexagon socket screw (12) counterclockwise
to loosen it slightly.
7.
Using the combination screwdriver (B), adjust
the tensioning screw (17) through the upper
opening in the cover.
Rotating clockwise means increasing

the chain tension. Rotating
counterclockwise means reducing the
chain tension.
8.
Using the combination screwdriver (B), turn
the hexagon socket screw (12) clockwise to
tighten it.
9.
Close the guard sheet (16) at the bottom of
the guide bar.
10. Using the combination screwdriver (B), turn
the hexagon socket screw (15) clockwise to
tighten it.
11. Close the spring-loaded lower protection flap
(11) upward.
✓
The saw chain is retensioned.
