4.1.c Stopping the motorcycle and
engine
- Fully release the throttle grip (1) to
decelerate the motorcycle.
- Brake both front and rear.
- Once the motorcycle has been
stopped, turn the ignition key (2) to
position " " (key removal posi-
tion), the engine stops.

4.1.d Stopping the engine in an
emergency
- To stop the engine in an emergency,
press the red switch (1) on
after stopping the motorcycle, return
the switch (1) back to the
sition.
WARNING
In the event of the accelera-
tor locking in the open posi-
tion or other malfunction that
caused the engine to spin un-
controllably, IMMEDIATELY
press the engine stop button
(1). Maintain control of the
motorcycle with normal use
of the brakes and steering

while pressing the stop but-
ton.

Parking the motorcycle

Place the motorcycle on the side stand
or on the central stand as described in
the relative paragraphs.

- After turning off the motor-
cycle, the engine and the
exhaust system can be-
come very hot, try to park
so that pedestrians do not
accidentally touch these
parts.
- Do not park next to dry
grass or other flammable materials that can catch
fire.
- Do not park on slopes or
on soft ground; the motor-
cycle could overturn with
possible fuel leakage and
fire hazard.
