3.3.c Passenger Get On
- The rider must get on the motorcy-
cle as described in the relevant par-
agraph, without starting the motor-
cycle.
- The passenger must extract the
footrests (1).
WARNING
The rider in the driving posi-
tion must not extract or try
to extract the rear passenger
footrests, as this could com-
promise the balance of the
vehicle.
- Get on the bike by lifting your right
leg, moving carefully so as not to un-
balance the vehicle and the rider.
- With your hands hold on to the han-
dles (2).
- With your left foot, retract the side
stand (if present) completely.
- Start the motorcycle as described in
the relative paragraph.
