7.71. Starting HRC training
Attach the safety clip to the plug-position on the console.

When you are ready, press the Start button on the console. The treadmill starts.

Set your feet on the treadmill in quick succession and start walking.
If desired, interrupt the training and adjust target pulse factor. Never overexert yourself!

If you want to stop the training beforehand, press the 'Stop' button on the control panel.
In case of danger, pull off the safety clip or press the stop button!

7.8 TRAINING WITH PROGRAMS (STANDARD AND HIIT)
7.8.1 Structure and duration of the programs
The device's programs are preset combinations of speed and incline with varying degrees of difficulty.
Each program comprises 20 segments of equal duration. The actual duration of each segment is equal
to the preselected total duration of the program divided by 20.
Four of the twenty programs are high intensity interval training (HIIT). Here, the total duration is set at 20
minutes. Each segment therefore takes 1 minute here.
7.8.2 Diagram representation of the programs
On this and the following pages, the individual programs are shown as diagrams.

The vertical bars show the speed in the respective segment.
•
The continuous line shows the incline in the respective segment. Note that the incline of the line
between two segments is not the same as the incline of the treadmill.
7.8.3 Preparing the training
Make sure that the safety clip is NOT attached to the plug-position on the console.

Press the 'PROG' button on the control panel until the desired program appears on the display.
Press the 'MODE' button on the control panel until 'TIME' flashes on the display.

Press the 'SPEED +' or 'SPEED -' button until the desired time period is displayed (5 - 99 minutes).
•
Attach safety clip firmly to clothing with short cord.
•
Hold on to a handle with one hand. Place the feet on the rails to the left and right of the treadmill.
•
7.8.4 Performing the training
Attach the safety clip to the plug-position on the console.

When you are ready, press the Start button on the console. The treadmill starts moving.
•

Set your feet on the treadmill in quick succession and start walking.
•
If desired, change the speed and/or incline of the treadmill with the corresponding buttons on the
control panel. Never overexert yourself!
If you want to stop the training beforehand, press the 'Stop' button on the control panel.
•
In case of danger, pull off the safety clip or press the stop button!
