Storing the Machine in the
Vertical-Stow Position
You can store your machine in the vertical position to
minimize storage space.
WARNING
Folding or unfolding the handle improperly
can damage the cables, causing an unsafe
operating condition.
• Do not damage the cables when folding or
unfolding the handle.
• If a cable is damaged, contact an
Authorized Service Dealer.
1.
Shut off the machine, remove the safety key,
and remove the battery pack; refer to
Off the Machine (page

Fold the handle all the way forward until it clicks
into position; refer to
19).
3.
Ensure that the grass box is not installed to the
machine; if it is, remove it. Refer to
the Grass Box (page
4.
Ensure that the cutting-height on the machine is
set to the highest setting (setting 6); if it is not,
raise it. Refer to
(page
12).
5.
Tilt the machine back and roll it by the handle
into a storage space
WARNING
Pulling the handlebar release brace
unlocks the handlebar, which may cause
the mower to suddenly drop to the
ground.
Do not pull the handlebar release brace
to move the machine.
