4. Check that chain tension adjuster pin (Fig.
7.C) is inserted correctly in the hole on the
bar; if it isn't, turn the chain tension adjuster
screw (Fig. 7.D), until the pin is completely
inserted.
5. Replace the guard without fully tightening the
nut.
6. Turn the chain tension adjuster screw
(Fig. 7.D) to achieve the desired tension (Fig.
9).
7. Raise the bar and securely tighten the nut with
the supplied wrench (Fig. 10.A).
4.2.1 Checking the chain tension
Check the chain tension.
The tension is correct when the drive links do not
slip out of the chain guides if you hold the chain in
the middle of the bar (Fig. 9)

4.3 EXTENSION OF THE PRUNER

• Open the lever (Fig. 11.A) following the direction
indicated by the arrow;
• pull or push the rod (Fig. 11.B) until it reaches
the desired length;
• once the adjustment has been made, close the
lever properly following the direction indicated
by the arrow (Fig. 11.C).
ATTENTION
Periodically check the couplings to
ensure that they are well tightened.

5. CONTROLS

5.1 THROTTLE CONTROL LEVER

The throttle control lever (Fig. 12.A) allows the
start/stop of the cutting means.
The throttle control lever (Fig. 12.A) can only be
operated if the throttle locking lever is pressed
(Fig. 12.B).

5.2 THROTTLE LOCKING LEVER

The throttle locking lever (Fig. 12.B) allows the
throttle control lever to be used (Fig. 12.A).
5.3 CUTTING
SPEED
ADJUSTMENT BUTTON
The cutting speed adjustment button (Fig. 12.D)
is used to select between the two speed levels
(Fig 12.E), depending on what you have to cut.
DANGER
Do not keep your finger on the safety switch when
moving the machine to avoid accidentally starting
the machine.

6. USING THE MACHINE

chap. 2. Strictly comply with these instructions to
avoid serious risks or dangers.

For instructions regarding the motor and the
battery read the relevant manuals.

6.1 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Before starting to work, it is necessary to carry out
several checks and operations to ensure you can
work efficiently and in maximum safety.
1. place the machine in a stable horizontal
position on the ground;
2. check the battery (par. 6.1.1);
3. Insert the battery correctly in one of the
compartments of the battery backpack
(par. 7.2.3 );

6.1.1 Checking the battery
The machine is supplied without the battery.
Purchase the battery with the capacity that most
suits your operational requirements and fully
charge it according to the instructions in the
battery charger manual.

NOTE
Before each use: check the battery charge status
by following the instructions provided in the
battery charger manual.
6.1.2 Filling with chain lubrication oil
Fill with chain lubrication oil before using the
machine. For oil filling methods and precautions
(see paragraph 7.3).
