Bluetooth function
Registering the devices
When you start the Bluetooth application for the
fi rst time, the Bluetooth function is activated and
the query "Register the devices now?" appears.
u
Touch the Yes button to register the cell
phone.
The search for Bluetooth-ready devices starts.
The devices are listed.
u
Touch the Stop button to end the search.
u
Touch the cell phone in the list to register it.
u
Touch the Connect button.
A PIN query is displayed.
u
Enter the PIN "0000" in your cell phone.
The devices are registered and the Bluetooth
connection is established.
Notes:
•
The Bluetooth connection can be estab-
lished only to one cell phone.
•
The Bluetooth connection is disconnected
if you switch off the device or spatially sep-
arate cell phone and device.
Hands-free function
Prerequisite:

Bluetooth connection to cell phone

In the Bluetooth menu, touch the
symbol.
The Call menu is displayed.
Calling
u
Enter a phone number of your choice via the
keyboard.
u
Touch the Dial button.
The call is made.
u
Touch the Cancel button to end the call.
Note:
Dialed and incoming phone numbers are
stored in the call list (next to the keyboard)
and can be re-dialed.

Answering or rejecting a call
If a call comes in, the "Incoming Call" message and
the phone number of the caller are displayed:

Audio transmission

Touch the Accept button to answer the call.
Touch the Cancel button to end a call or to
reject a call.
Your cell phone supports this function.
Note:
Every cell phone supports the audio transmis-
sion in a different way. For this purpose, please
read the instructions of your cell phone.
In the Bluetooth menu, touch the
symbol.
The Music Player menu is displayed.
Touch the button to start the play-
back.
Press the VOL - or VOL + button to adjust the
volume.
Note:
The maximum volume depends on the ad-
justed volume in the cell phone.
Touch the button to end the playback.

Briefl y press the On/Off switch to start an-
other application during playback, e.g. the
navigation.
