Mounting on the rack
The DN-V750/V755 is of 1U size, allowing it to be mounted in EIA
standard 19" racks.
To mount the DN-V750/V755 on an EIA standard 19" rack, use a
separately sold mounting kit.
The DN-V750/V755 is 1U size with half the width. Two kits are
available, one for mounting two units of the DN-V750/V755 in the
1U space of a 19" rack, the other for mounting just one unit of the
DN-V750/V755 in the 1U space. For any questions on the
mounting kit, please contact your store of purchase.
NOTE:
When mounting the DN-V750/V755 on the rack, be sure to
use guide rails or shelf boards, etc., on the rack side to
prevent weight from being applied to the front of the DN-
V750/V755.
The weight of the DN-V750/V755 cannot be supported only
with the fittings.
Also take sufficient considerations for the installation
environment, for example with respect to heat from other
devices (use forced ventilation, etc.).
With the DN-V755 in particular, heat is dispersed from the
upper surface, so do not cover the top of the unit.
2 Mounting the feet
Attach the feet to the bottom of the set and at points about 20
mm from the edges (for both sides). Remove the protective
sheets from the bottom of the feet, and press on them from
the top with sufficient strength to attach them.
The feet are press-fitted into the set, so they cannot be
removed once attached.
2
Connecting the AC adapter
Set the DN-V750/V755's power switch to the OFF
position.
1
Insert the power cord's plug into the AC adapter's AC inlet
side.
2
Insert the AC adapter's DC plug into the DN-V750/V755's
DC jack.
Mount the DC plug disconnection prevention fitting using
the included screw so that the DC plug does not come
disconnected.
3
Plug the power cord into a power outlet.

CAUTIONS ON THE AC ADAPTER
• Be sure to use the included AC adapter.
• Be sure to set the DN-V750/V755's power switch to the OFF
position when plugging in and unplugging the AC adapter.
• Note that plugging in the AC adapter while the set's power
is turned on may damage the set or the flash memory card.
• Do not pull on the DC plug cord with excessive force when
the DC plug disconnection prevention fitting is connected.
Doing so will damage the DC plug cord, possibly damaging
the set.
