6.1.6 Tool storing and battery maintenance
Before storing the tool for a period of time it is necessary to:
• Perform a complete battery set (1) re-charge cycle.
• Every 120 days effect a complete battery set (1) re-charge cycle.
• During the storing period, do not leave the shear in the rain and keep it a dry place in its box.
WARNING!
• If the battery set (1) is not re-charged every 120 days, as duly indicated in par. 7.1.6, it will
irreparably get damaged.
6.1.7 Anvil replacement
The following operations shall be performed in the indicated order:
• Remove the cutting blade (14) (see par. 6.1.4)
• Remove the screws (25)
• Replace the anvil (16)
• Assemble the pin (29) in the anvil (16) and in the shear body
• Align the anvil fixing holes with the body threads
• Tighten the nut (22) on the pin (29)
• Tighten the screws (25) adding Loctite 270 or something equivalent
• Remove the nut (22) and the pin (29)
• Assemble the cutting blade (14) (see par. 6.1.4)
6.2 Special maintenance

Any special maintenance operation shall only be carried out by a CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorized Service
Point.

7 - DISMANTLING AND DISPOSING OF THE COMPONENTS
7.1 General
At the end of its working life, the tool has to be dismantled.
The tool components shall be divided in order to dispose of them according to the materials they are made of
(batteries, metal, plastic, etc) and in compliance with the regulations of the country where the tool was used.
7.2 Dead batteries disposal
The dead and/or damaged batteries disposal and handling have to be carried out according to the Directive
91/157/CE or the corresponding regulations of the country where the batteries were used.
