Troubleshooting
If a fault occurs, the "Fault" symbol lights up or
flashes on the LED information panel. The fault
must be rectified for further operation.
"Fault" symbol flashes
If the "Fault" symbol flashes, the fault can be recti-
fied by the user or operator. Possible faults are, for
example:
n Fault during the charging process
n Operating temperature too high
n Undervoltage or overvoltage is present
To correct the fault, observe the following se-
quence:
u End the charging process and unplug the char-
ging cable.
u If necessary, wait until the product has cooled
or under / overvoltage is no longer present.
u Plug the charging cable back in and start the
charging process.
If the fault could not be corrected, contact
your responsible service partner.

"Fault" symbol lights up
If the "Fault" symbol lights up, the fault can only be
rectified by a qualified electrician.
The tasks described below may only be car-
ried out by a qualified electrician.
Possible faults are, for example:
n Self-test of the electronics failed
n Self-test of the DC residual current monitoring
failed
n Welded load contact (welding detection)

diagnosis of the fault and download log
files.

To correct the fault, observe the following se-
quence:
u Disconnect the product from the power supply
for 3 minutes and restart.
u Check whether a firmware update is available
(on our website under "Service") and upload it
via the configuration tool if necessary.
u Read out the fault diagnosis in the configuration
tool and rectify the fault.

u Document the fault
You can find the MENNEKES fault log on our

Spare parts
If replacement parts are necessary for troubleshoot-
ing, these must first be checked to ensure identical
design.
u Use only original spare parts that are provided
and / or approved by MENNEKES.
